Operation Olympic: The Invasion of Japan, 1 November 1945: Operation Olympic is a hypothetical simulation, at the regiment-and-brigade level, of the planned invasion of Kyushu in November 1945. That invasion was intended to secure a base for Operation Coronet, the decisive follow-up against the main Home Island of Honshu in March 1946. Since the Japanese were historically committed to an aggressive forward defense, the basic version is a solitaire game in which the single player controls both forces. You alternately direct each opposing force so as to maximize each one’s ability to fulfill its victory conditions. In doing that you will have complete control over US units, while Japanese operations will be shaped by their doctrine rules. Those doctrine rules fulfill the role of the absent Japanese player. Optional rules, as well as rules for two-players, are also included.

5 of 5 Operation Olympic July 23, 2012
Reviewer: John Daniel from Lynchburg, VA United States
The game is very much like the SPI board game. The only problem I found was that you do not have complete control of selecting Amer units to attack. Others might finds the rules a problem since it's copied from the board game. The game is good at telling you when to procede what to do. The answer to the last reveiwer is you have to purchase the game and a couple of days later you are sent a link to download the game;
