Battle for Germany Deluxe Edition
Battle for Germany Deluxe Edition
Price: $70.00

Hitler's Third Reich was clearly beaten in early December 1944 as Anglo-American and Soviet armies reached Germany's borders to the east and west. The only questions remaining were how long it would take to finish the job, and how many more would die in the process. Hitler gambled his last reserves in an offensive through the Ardennes, hoping to split the Anglo-Americans and force them to the negotiating table. It failed, and a month later the final Allied offensives began. The overwhelmed German army gave ground grudgingly and even launched local counteroffensives but could not stop the tide as the Allies picked up speed. Allied leaders strove to finish the war, all the while looking toward the shape of postwar Europe. The race was on for the final prize: Berlin.

World War I Deluxe Edition (Ziplock)
Price: $50.00

World War I Deluxe Edition. This update of the S&T#294 issue game will include a Mounted Game Board, and an update of the counters and rules.

World War I originated in a combustible mix of dynastic ambition, nationalism, and misplaced confidence in a short war. Europe was an armed camp with mass armies formed by conscription and national reserves. Antagonism, fear, and suspicion drove nations into a lacework of alliances. Sarajevo provided the spark that set it off, and in a matter of days the continent was at war, with empires in the balance.

D-Day at Iwo Jima
D-Day at Iwo Jima
Price: $100.00

D-Day at Iwo Jima is a solitaire game simulating the amphibious invasion of Iwo Jima. The five-week battle was some of the bloodiest fighting in the Pacific. In one of the costliest intelligence failures of the war, the planners had completely misjudged the situation that would face the Marines. The beaches had been described as excellent and the advance inland was expected to be easy. Instead, the Marines were faced with 15-foot-high slopes of soft black volcanic ash that brought the normally rapidly moving Marines down to a slow plod. In addition, the lack of a vigorous response led the Marines to believe that the bombardment had completely suppressed the defenses. However, Gen. Kuribayashi was far from beaten. Understanding that his forces were insufficient to defeat the massive American invasion force, he had decided to defend the island in-depth.

D-Day at Peleliu
Price: $100.00

D-Day at Peleliu is a solitaire game simulating the amphibious invasion of Peleliu in the Palau Islands. The Marines assaulted with the primary goal of capturing the airstrip nestled amid jungle and overlooked by forbidding mountain terrain. Though Maj. Gen. William Rupertus, commander of the division, predicted a quick four-day victory, the battle was instead a two-month fight to the death against some 10,000 tenacious Japanese. more info
Napoleonic 20 Expansion Kit: Hanau 20
Napoleonic 20 Expansion Kit: Hanau 20
Price: $20.00

The Napoleonic 20 Expansion Kit includes these new, optional Expansion Kit component modules:

  • 18 C'est la Guerre cards
  • 12 Maneuver Matrix cards and the "approach to battle" system
  • 8 Great Captains cards
  • Chief-of-Staff system with new replacement Leader units

Hanau 20 is a smaller, more "introductory" in size, game of the Napoleonic 20 series, which sees the curtain fall on the campaigns of 1813 as Napoleon was withdrawing from his defeat at the great Battle of Leipzig a fortnight earlier. Although it was not a large battle, it was a vital one, as Napoleon suddenly found his retreat route back to France blocked by an unexpected, newly raised Allied force.

Napoleonic 20: Espana 20 Vol 1
Napoleonic 20: Espana 20 Vol 1
Price: $60.00

España 20 features two complete games covering key battles fought over control of the Iberian Peninsula.

Considered one of Wellington’s finest battles, Arapiles 20 (July, 1812) from Lance McMillan focuses on the hard-fought meeting engagement between his veteran British forces and Mareschal Marmont’s French army in the hills south of Salamanca. With two armies of equal strength, victory requires careful planning, precise maneuvers, and exact timing to take advantage of the opportunities offered by unexpected events. Will the British player be able to pounce on a fleeting French blunder to win the day (as happened historically), or will the French be able to simply bludgeon his opponent into submission? In Arapiles 20, the outcome of this famous battle is in your hands.

Hans von Stockhausen's Bailén 20 (July, 1808) showcases the stunning triumph of General Francisco Castaños’ Spanish army over French General Pierre Dupont’s Corps d’Observation operating in the mountains of Andalusia. This game challenges both players: The Spanish must struggle to coordinate the actions of their large and enthusiastic but mostly untrained army, while the French must decide whether to try and hold against superior numbers or conduct a fighting withdrawal back to Madrid. With Spanish guerrillas, a baggage train full of looted treasure, and treacherous Swiss mercenaries who might change sides in the middle of the battle, Bailén 20 offers players plenty of military adventure.
