Description
The Seven Days includes four battles of the American Civil War, plus a campaign game that combines all four maps into one game that covers the entire campaign. All are presented in easy quick playing wargames. Game counters represent the historical units which actually participated in each battle, as well as Union corps and Confederate division leaders for the campaign game. Each game is divided into basic, advanced, and campaign rules to provide a span of simplicity and detail for every experience level.
Seven Pines. Before the start of the Seven Days campaign, George McClellan had marched to within sight of the church spires of Richmond.
Gaines Mill, 27 June 1862. An impetus Confederate assault on Beaver Creek Dam had signaled the start of the Seven Days campaign to force McClellan back from Richmond.
Frayser's Farm, 30 June 1862. With McClellan's change of bases still going on, the Union sought to delay Lee as long as possible.
Malvern Hill, 1 July 1862. Seven miles from their new base, Harrison's Landing, and just 15 miles from Richmond, McClellan halted his troops and prepared to face Lee head on.
